A Plissé satin silk bag featuring the signature “Azur” label and a cotton-linen lining. Crafted from 100% organic, fair trade, and cruelty-free satin silk, it is lined with a rare French fabric composed of 50% linen and 50% cotton from the early 20th century. Each piece is hand-dyed with locally grown plants, sewn, and meticulously hand-pleated one pleat at a time in Marseille, France, resulting in a singular fabric with subtle tonal variations and a distinctive texture that defines Azur’s signature aesthetic. Delicate by nature, the silk pleating requires gentle handling; exposure to water or perspiration may flatten the pleats. Professional dry cleaning only is recommended to preserve the integrity of the piece.
